Mind the germs

A design for a new seat pattern for the London Underground tube lines. made out of the swabbed bacteria. We wanted to expose how much bacteria is hidden on the Underground to the public. We swabbed three tube lines; the Northern, Victoria and Waterloo and City line and created patterns from the growing bacteria. The pattern changes and gets more intricate on each seat representing how much bacteria each of the tube lines contain. With Jordan Baines and Meg Cornish, 2017.
